don't just sing in car, learn your place.

assalamualaikum && hello

'Kalau keluar, siapa lagi best drive, or siapa yang awak prefer kalau pergi jalan jalan? Mak ke ayah?'. ini soalan cikgu Chemistry yang tersayang masa form 4 form 5, blurted out while discussing past year questions. heheh. so we gave  ourselves a thought and i remembered most of them responded him well, along with their experiences. far differed compared when he asked about the past year explanations. :3

I was still thinking when he finally said, 'Bohonglah. awak bukannya kisah pun siapa yang drive. tau tau je dah sampai. awak duduk belakang tu tidur je. kan?'

Only then i stopped figuring out and smile. hahah, yeah agreed. that's why i cant answer him directly. because i knew neither is the answer.

We don't care who's driving. I don't care.

I'll be busy talking or singing with my sisters or reading or fighting over the radio with mama or sleeping. we're a bunch of spoiled brats who never take buses to anywhere alone. blame the cruel world, it's never possible to let le parents allowing us exposed to the bootleggers. hoho.

to cut everything short, at 19 i find it hard to trace routes to anywhere. but it's not that important though, yes?

PM was coming, roads were blocked on a bigger perimeter. it was 8am and le lil sis was late for her function and mom was late for her classes. therefore we were dropped almost 2 km from the location and i accompanied her there. Ep tagged along.
'Nanti susur sungai sampai jeti cruise tu. i'll pick u there at 10.'
'No big deal', car door closed. *wave.

Safely send le sis and let's make a move, to the river. now... where's the river?

15 mins passed, river found after juggling all over the places under the sun. so... the jetty will be on the right side................ right?

i was trying my best to figure out the path, and if it's not right we can always turn back. this is absolutely nothing plus the riverside had a nice view, we could just think this as sightseeing, so i told Ep. i dont mind walking far, just hoping that we could make it in time.

500m from the river was as crowded as ever, but it's really hard to see a soul in here. we kept on walking alongside the river, i really had a peace of mind despite the biting sun.

Ep told me someone was following us. i ignored her, fascinated by the view and being focussing on figuring the way.  there was really someone behind us and i gave him the way to walk in front of us when i decided to stop by for awhile. we entered into a small space and facing the river. the man was really absent from my mind, until he called me at the entrance of the space. i glanced at him and turn back, i knew we were in trouble.

A deep one.

i recited selawat incessantly. i heard he mumbled something. he was holding his thing and the lascivious glare made me shivered down the spine. we're unarmed. nobody was around, like, nobody.

i wanted to think, but before i able to flick any idea, i grabbed ep's hand and ran. faster at every breath. the path seems endless, i'm glad i was running with a school sprinter. i saw an old man, and we called him, shouting at on top of our lungs. he literally ignored us, but we kept running and try to find a crowd.

we did, and the rest is history.

i know i wont ever set my foot there again.

ps. we talked about this later in car, Ep said he was chasing after us until we reached at the middle of the bridge which was like really ? O_O'

ps2. i told a police nearby but his face told me i was making up a fiction.

xx
